Electromyography of Laryngeal muscles (L-EMG)

EMG of laryngeal muscle is the golden tool to guide injection of Botulinum toxin (Botox) into muscle of larynx and VCs. It's also a helpful diagnostic test in some difficult cases of vocal cords mobility disorders. It's best tool to predict development of vocal cord paralysis (prognosis) specially after surgeries such as thyroidectomy
